L'année 2026 sera riche en émotions : les 20 ans des expositions à Saint Eman, les 30 ans des Rencontres et les 40 ans de notre association !

Ces anniversaires nous ont inspiré pour déterminer le thème de cette prochaine édition : Rencontre. 

Nous parlons souvent des Rencontres sans s'attarder sur le sens de ce mot tellement il nous est familier. Mais la rencontre, c'est le point de départ de tout. La rencontre entre deux êtres, deux mondes, deux énergies. La rencontre d'une multitude avec une autre ou d'un artiste avec son public. Cette rencontre, quelle qu'elle soit, a des conséquences : elle engendre, elle relie, elle rassemble. 2026 sera donc pour nous une façon de revenir à nos origines, à notre raison d'être en tant qu'association de lien social, en célébrant ce mot qui nous unit.

The year 2026 will be an exciting one: the 20th anniversary of the exhibitions in Saint Eman, the 30th anniversary of the Rencontres, and the 40th anniversary of our association!

These anniversaries inspired us to choose the theme for this next edition: "Rencontre" which means meeting or encounter.

We often talk about the Rencontres without dwelling on the meaning of the word, because it is so familiar to us. But meeting is the starting point for everything. The encounter between two beings, two worlds, two energies. The meeting between one group and another, or between an artist and their audience. This encounter, whatever it may be, has consequences: it creates, connects, brings people together. 2026 will therefore be a way for us to return to our origins, to our raison d'être as an association promoting social ties, by celebrating this word that unites us.
